Journal of Nutraceuticals and Food Science is a scientific, peer-reviewed, academic journal which promotes rigorous research that makes a significant contribution in advancing knowledge and provides important forum for researchers and scholars to exchange their knowledge on current advancement in food Science and research, nutraceuticals and their product. I am pleased to announce the key-point of the year 2019, all issues of volume 4 were published online within the given time frame and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online.
Journal of Nutraceuticals and Food Science is an international scholarly, open access, peer-reviewed academic journal. The journal covers clinical & medical studies related to medical nutrition, nutraceuticals, health products, phytonutrients, and nutrition. The Journal is a broad forum focusing on all the areas of nutraceuticals for obesity & health management, nutraceuticals in chronic diseases, marine nutraceuticals & nutricosmetics, diatery supplements and functional foods.
The impact factor for the year 2019 was 0.65. The Journal is listed with various indexing sites to standardized visibility and maintains publication standard.During the calendar year of 2019, Nutraceuticals Journal received a total of 24 manuscript, out of which 13 articles (54%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer-review process. During 2019 around 11 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process which includes editorial, research paper, review paper, case reports etc. In the Volume 4, a total of 11 articles were published (at an average of 5 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited in different platform.
During the calendar year 2019, a total of one Editor, four Reviewers joined the board of Nutraceuticals Journal and contributed their valuable services towards contribution as well as publication of the articles.
I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of (Dr. Dilip Ghosh) during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, in bringing out issues of the Journal in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of the journal, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of Nutraceuticals journal and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 5 of Nutraceutical and Food Science in scheduled time.
